Urban Push Movement, Volume 6 to take place Friday, June 28, 2013 at Therapy Wine Lounge

NEW ORLEANS - June 22, 2013 - PRLog -- This installment of Urban Push Movement will be yet another red carpet event where attendees can be photographed as they enter the event. It is sponsored by Urban Push Movement and Mixtape108.

Urban Push Movement is “the movement for all movements”. Volume 6 will be hosted by Rizzo the Prophet, featuring epic music from hip hop artists Jay Jones, Reem (#0017th), Tacaloc, and Jay Hamm, along with R&B artists Pervella Gant, Al Beauti, Brianna Francis, River Smith, and C Freedom and comedian Courtney G. Joining the fold will also be Poet Quest Sinatra. Live artist Charlie V will once again be in the building for Volume 6. Models will be provided by Serenity’s Closet. DJ Redd Slick will be on the 1s and 2s.  

Urban Push Movement has swiftly become a force that is well known for not only supporting independent artists from multiple genres, but it is gaining notoriety as the “go to” showcase in the City of New Orleans. The movement strives to show off the city’s unique talent that not only includes bounce music, but more importantly, other movements including Jazz, House, Rock, R&B, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Electronica, Dance, and much more. Urban Push Movement is also unique in that it incorporates art and spoken word into its concept.

Urban Push Movement, Volume 6 continues the tradition that is sure to be only one of many events showing off the true talent birthed by the City of New Orleans. Urban Push Movement is becoming an “urban legend”, known to showcase the city’s epic talent to the world!
