Natick Visiting Nurse Association’s Fresh Taste a Delicious Success

NATICK, Mass. - June 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Natick, Mass. - (June 26, 2013) –The Natick Visiting Nurse Association (Natick VNA), the area’s premier free-standing, not-for-profit home health care agency, today announced that more than 300 people attended its annual Fresh Taste benefit in Wellesley. WCVB anchor Susan Wornick served as event host, and Judie Ham of Natick and Arlene Taros of Hopkinton were event co-chairs.

Fresh Taste, through sponsorships, tickets sales and silent and live auctions and a raffle, raised more than $50,000 to support the Natick VNA in its endeavor to provide home health care to individuals throughout MetroWest, regardless of their ability to pay.

Roche Bros., Wellesley Bank and Penny Holmes all served as Gold Sponsors for the event, which featured food, wine and beer tastings from more than 20 restaurants, breweries and chefs from throughout MetroWest.

“We are so grateful to our sponsors, volunteers, Board of Trustees, and our Planned Giving and Fresh Taste committees for their dedication to supporting the Natick VNA,” said Betsy Cross, Natick VNA’s Director of Development. “This year’s Fresh Taste participants brought their ‘A-game’ and provided top-notch food and drinks for the evening,” she added.
