Australian cosmetics company Alexami launches new skincare range, Hydrabotanique®.
 
GOLD COAST, Australia - June 27, 2013 - PRLog -- A Gold Coast company looks poised to expand their internationally-acclaimed range of natural cosmetics to include skincare. Two years of extensive research and development have gone into creating Alexami Cosmetic’s innovative Hydrabotanique® collection, an affordable skincare range crafted using certified organic ingredients that is set to revolutionise the skincare marketplace when it is released on July 11th, 2013.

Tagged as nature’s solution to smart hydration, the Hydrabotanique® collection has been developed and manufactured in Australia under strict GMP guidelines. Aside from local production, the Hydrabotanique® range marks its point of difference by incorporating a number of active botanicals and natural oils, including Seabuckthorn, Camellia, Chia, Borage, White Tea, Chamomile, Aloe Vera, and Pomegranate to name but few. It also makes use of a component known as Hydraporine, which consists of four key ingredients that effectively lock moisture deep into the skin’s core for thorough, long lasting hydration levels throughout the day and night.

Not long after successfully launching the existing Alexami cosmetics range in 2009, Alexami Cosmetics founder of Alenka Dirnbek began the groundwork for developing the  unique Hydrabotanique®  skincare products to expand the brand portfolio. “It has taken years of research, but we are excited to unveil skincare that is full of wholesome natural ingredients whilst being multi-functional and effective. The collection consists of eight unique products, six of which are certified organic skincare products and two of which are complementing mineral makeup products designed to create the ultimate foundation for a naturally beautiful complexion. Each of these have been designed with simplicity and multi-functionality in mind. For example, the 3-in-1 Pumpkin Enzyme Facial Polish can be used as a scrub, peel or mask depending on how long it is left on the skin.” said Dirnbek.

The Hydrabotanique® collection involves a regime of 7 Simple Steps to achieve a perfect base and youthful glow: PURIFY > REFINE > SOOTHE > REPAIR > HYDRATE > PROTECT > PERFECT.  

Many products within the Hydrabotanique® collection are multi-functional and have been packaged in fresh, modern colours. Some formula powders from the original makeup range have been included, repackaged into smaller and more convenient purse-sized jars with mess free open/close dials.  

The collection stays true to Alexami’s brand philosophy by providing the market with superior grade products that are 100% naturally derived, and at least 75% certified organic by the Organic Food Chain (OFC) in Australia. The range is non-toxic, not tested on animals and does not contain any PEGs, parabens, propylene glycol, silicones, mineral oil, SLS, synthetic fragrances or artificial colours.

Every aspect of the collection’s packaging upholds Alexami Cosmetic’s green philosophy as well. Made from recyclable plastic PET and PE and recycled paper, the packaging is printed using waterless printing technology. Additionally, the included facial mitt is made from biodegradable corn fabric, and the cosmetic bag is made from eco-friendly EVA plastic.

For Dirnbek, another point of pride is pricing. “In spite of having high quality certified organic ingredients, expensive oils and actives, we managed to keep reasonable RRP compared to our competitors, with all products under $50. It’s a luxury standard range, but reasonably positioned to ensure our products are accessible for all women,” Dirnbek said.

To celebrate the launch of Hydrabotanique®, Alexami Cosmetics have altered their logo to incorporate a water droplet to represent the brand’s active botanical ingredients that work to hydrate the skin, and to represent a fountain of youth. Alexami has also introduced a brand ambassador to coincide with the release of the new Hydrabotanique® collection. The naturally beautiful Natasha represents the pure, simple and raw philosophy of the company and will appear in many of Alexami’s promotional materials including print ads, videos and product demonstrations.
