By: RxTechExam Save thousands by studying online. Richmond, VA – Soon there will be a viable alternative to For-Profit Career Schools. Instead of drowning in student loans and fulfilling a two year obligation in the study of Pharmacology, an inexpensive, high quality, self-paced learning platform will prepare those interested in becoming a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician to pass the Certification Exam. www.RxTechExam.com is launching later this month after two years of curriculum development and innovation. “I’ve taught at For-Profit Schools for years and after witnessing their unsavory admission policies, students’ huge debt obligation, and unnecessary coursework, decided to develop a better means for students to study to become a Pharmacy Technician at their own pace, on their own time, and for a much lower cost.” – A. Davis Currently, there is little regulation in most states governing the education of Pharmacy Technicians. To become Nationally Certified, one only needs to pass the PTCB’s Exam (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board). Preparation for that exam can be obtained by attending an aforementioned Career School, or by studying books on the subject (i.e. Mosby’s Pharmacy Technician Review). The curriculum was developed by a Certified Pharmacy Technician with 14 years’ experience practicing in a variety of settings. After development, it was assessed by a Doctorate of Pharmacy who is preparing to teach Pharmacology at a Post-Doctorate level. We are currently offering a Free Module on our “Under Construction Page” at www.RxTechExam.com, as well as screenshots of many of the materials contained within the curriculum.
