PHILADELPHIA - July 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Tea Tangent is a company that specializes in unique, carved wooden tea accessories, harvested from sustainable hardwood operations.  The Tea Nest is the company's flagship product, a tea infuser made to sit inside a teacup, teapot, or mug, and constructed from hardwood and a stainless steel mesh.

Teacology's Review of Tea Nest

Teacology reviews the Tea Nest as a tea infuser, exploring its pros and cons relative to other infusers, including the Finum Brewing Basket.  Teacology found that the Tea Nest most excelled at single-serving brewing in Western-style teacups.  The infuser is also ideally suited for matcha-infused green teas, and is easier to clean than infusers with a finer mesh.

Sustainability Issues in Forestry

Tea Tangent and related company Jonathan's Spoons both use hardwood harvested from forestry operations that are certified sustainable by the non-profit Hardwood Forestry Fund.  Teacology explores the topic of sustainable forestry as well as covering a bit about the community and ecology in the region around Kempton, where the company is located.
