By: Fort Ticonderoga America’s Fort Clambake™ will be held from 3pm-6pm, July 27, followed by a Twilight Fife & Drum Corps Concert at 7pm. Ongoing entertainment will be featured throughout the Clambake. Tickets are $30 for adults and children 10 yrs and under are $22. Clambake tickets include the Twilight Fife & Drum Corps concert. Tickets can also be purchased separately at the gate for the concert-only option for $10. Clambake tickets are available at Fort Ticonderoga and the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce. Clambake menu offerings include marinated chicken, grilled hamburgers and cheeseburgers, rolls, old fashioned red bliss potato salad, and coleslaw, old fashioned baked beans, corn on the cob, steamed clams with fresh drawn butter, and clam chowder. Desserts and beverages will be included and a cash bar will be available. “America’s Fort™ Clambake is a wonderful way to taste the tradition at Fort Ticonderoga,” The Clambake is held the same day as the Fort’s Annual Fife & Drum Corps Muster held throughout the day and features patriotic music performed by fife and drum corps from across the country. In addition, many Fort Ticonderoga Fife & Drum Corps Alumni will participate in the performances. The Fort Ticonderoga Fife & Drum Corps is one of America’s first commemorative fife and drum corps formed in 1926 to celebrate the 150th commemoration of the American Revolution. All event proceeds support Fort Ticonderoga, an independent, non-profit educational organization. Event Honorary Chairpersons for America’s Fort™ Clambake are Ray and Robin Thatcher.
