By: The Secret Garden (TSG 1895), LLC During the first phase of the campaign – a design competition - which will take place from Monday, July 15 to Monday, July 29, 2013, approximately 50 students will each create up to three 3D interior designs for different room settings (residential, commercial, and office) that each feature at least one gemstone lamp from the TSG 1895 USA™ catalog (available at http://www.tsg1895usa.com). Faculty members from the Westwood College’s Institute of Design will serve as judges: These include Al Nikroo (Program Chair / Architectural Designer), Medhi Boorboor (Architect/Instructor) The second phase of the campaign will take place in August 2013. At that time, Westwood College will dedicate a room for students in the Interior Design and Architecture programs to decorate the space with furniture and accessories – with a TSG 1895 USA™ Tiffany style gemstone lamp as the central design element. After the décor is complete, Westwood College will host an open house, where members of the public may view the completed room. Westwood College will also conduct a silent auction in the room – and take bids for the high-value gemstone lamp donated by TSG 1895 USA™. The proceeds will fund a field trip to Italy for the school’s students of Interior Design and Architecture.
