Las Vegas’ Talisman Farm Vaulters Ride To First Place At U-Vault Invitational

Three novice vaulter from the Las Vegas-based Talisman Farm equestrian riding academy ride to victory at the American Vaulting Association sponsored U-Vault Invitational in Saratoga Springs, Utah

July 13, 2013 - PRLog -- Equestrian vaulting came to Saratoga Springs, Utah with the American Vaulting Association sponsored U-Vault Invitational and Las Vegas-based Talisman Farm novice vaulters brought home the ribbons.  

“We are incredibly proud of our young vaulters, said AnnMarie Corey, Talisman Las Vegas Vaulters’ team coach. “The competition was tough and our vaulters brought the composure, confidence and results that show they are destined for many more top wins.”

The Men’s Novice Advanced Walk overall went to Talisman Farm’s Bradley Puterbaugh, 12, with equine partner Miss Fire Opal, a 12-year old Haflinger lunged by Jake Fluekiger and owned by Technique Equestrian Vaulters.  In only his second competition, B. Puterbaugh brought home first place in both Men’s Novice Advanced 1* Compulsories and Men’s Novice Advanced Walk Freestyle on Barrel. He also claimed second place in Men’s Novice Advanced Walk Freestyle.

Carissa Puterbaugh, 6, took first place in Women’s Novice Walk 1* Compulsories and Women’s Novice Walk Freestyle as well as first place in Women’s Novice Walk Freestyle on Barrel. C. Puterbaugh equine partner was Miss Fire Opal.          

Maelis Wahl, 10, placed eighth in Novice Advanced Walk 1*; fifth in Novice Advanced Walk Freestyle on Barrel and sixth in Novice Advanced Walk Freestyle.
