By: National Licensing Services The NMSDC certification process requires that each business be at least 51% minority-owned and operated. The criterion for certification includes screenings, office visits and interviews. Certified MBEs are eligible for services offered by NMSDC and its regional councils, including being added to the NMSDC network database allowing companies to efficiently market its services nationwide. Additionally, the certification helps identify minority businesses for buying agents of major corporations allowing them to better report diversity spend and utilization rates. Serina Choi, Manager of NLS, commented: “Minority certification will help National Licensing Services as we expand our presence beyond Nevada and build business relationships in other states. As we researched NMSDC benefits of membership, it just made sense for NLS to align with NMSDC and tap into its national network of potential business partners.” NLS and it’s team of consultants with over 40 years of combined business and gaming experience, has helped several businesses such as AMPM convenience stores, Big League Dreams, JETT Gaming, Mutual Trading Company, 7-Eleven Franchises, and many more.
