Winners of the 3rd Annual Gospel Blue M.I.C. Awards Announced

BUFFALO, N.Y. - July 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Hosted by Phillip Carter & Earl Bynum, artists were celebrated and recognized for their ministry contributions to the music industry. The event featured spectacular performances by one of the night’s big winners Monica Lisa Stevenson, and performances by Carl Brister, Young Saint, Cheneta Jones, CD Porter, and Phillip Carter & SOV.

Radio Personality Rick Joyner served as master of ceremonies. Robert E. Person, last year's Blue M.I.C. Award winner for Artist of Year was one of the event's presenters along with Benita Bellamy (The Bellamy Group), Thomas Rollins (New Day Distribution), Stephanie Carter (SOV Ministries) and more.

Adding to this celebration were the Special Recognitions Awards given to Benita Bellamy (The Bellamy Group) and the late Dontavies Boatwright with tribute performances 2012 winners Derek Dunn, Javon Inman, and Robert E. Person.  

To cap off the evening, Javon Iman was awarded the Christian JukeBox Achievement Award and Eunice Wright was named the Independent Showcase Artist of the Year.

Applicants completed nomination forms chronicling their achievements and activities during the past year. The information was independently verified; and nominees and winners were selected by the Blue Ribbon Panel. The 2013 Gospel Blue M.I.C. Award winners are:
