Hereunder, we learn together about the treatment of drilling cuttings discharged from shale shaker, mud cleaner, low speed centrifuge, these cuttings could not be throwing away without treatment as per environmental regulations. Here under, we describe the general treatment of the drilling cuttings.

1. Collected and transported away by auger

Screw conveyor, short as auger, is widely used in waste management. It can collect and transport the drilling cuttings to the next treating equipment. GN auger have different models for option, like GNSC14-24, GNSC14-36, GNSC14-48, GNSC18-24,GNSC18-36,GNSC18-48.


2. The fluids go to Hi-G dryer or cutting dryer for next treatment

If OBM(oil base mud), cutting dryer is needed; if WBM (water based mud), Hi-G dryer is needed.

After treatment by Hi-G dryer or cutting dryer, the fluids can be separated to two parts: the fine fluids go into down tank, the dryer cuttings discharged and collected by cutting box.

3. Last stage of drilling waste management equipment, decanter centrifuge

The fluids can be pumped into decanter centrifuge for further treatment. After treatment, the fluids can also be separated to two parts: the fine fluids go into down tank, the dryer cuttings discharged and collected by cutting box.
