SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - July 18, 2013 - PRLog -- SOLVANG, Calif. (JULY 18, 2013) --- Acosta Global Marketing announces pre-production of the national video vignette series, “American Tributes”, saluting many of the nation’s unsung heroes from our communities, to be distributed in 2014.

According to the series creator, Robert Acosta,  “America remains the most charitable nation in the world by giving our emotional support and encouragement to those in need be it across the road or across the seas—at these moments, we are of one mindset without political, racial or religious influence—we are humanitarians. The intent of these stories, is to bring together the common denominator of appreciation by all age groups as a reminder what we all have in common.”

Acosta adds, “the vignettes are to share what brings our families, communities and country together in time of peril, fear, loss and even appreciation.  It is a series that recognizes support to what we call “community” without borders.  It is our intent to not only share stories of heroism but to recognize talent, contributions, and random stories of those we have lost that left an imprint in our hearts.  Simply, we all have these experiences—our profiles may not make national headlines or receive certificate awards, but in our hearts, they have touched us. For many, who have been suffered a loss—seeing life go on is painful—it is a moment to reflect and share with others the person, pet, or an event that impacted their lives. ”

Acosta, an award winning producer/director/writer, will executive produce the series with planned location shooting nationwide.  According to senior researcher, Rebecca Tipton, “we will be working in partnership with brand sponsors to seek profile considerations. Plans are underway via the social networks for nominations as well as submissions from major retailers asking customers to nominate their unsung heroes.  We believe in the grass roots outreach approach as well, somehow forgotten in a world of technology, so bringing the two together will be exciting.”

The stories will come in video vignettes for television network distribution, YouTube and social network inter-active display.  Juxtaposed to the distribution will be retail promotion across the country linking the series stories to in-store opportunities for discounts and savings.  Retail supervisor on the project, Charlee Wilson says, “we love the idea of matching a profile to an item in the store in memory of a profile be it running shoes, kitchen utensils, musical instrument, CDs, books, and more. In addition, we will provide retailers with an American Tribute board for customer viewing of perhaps local profiles nominations that didn’t make it to the series but still important to the community to recognize.”
