Velvet Ice Cream creates Maple Bacon Ice Cream for Ohio State Fair

COLUMBUS, Ohio - July 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Utica, OH – Velvet Ice Cream today announced it has launched a new flavor: Maple Bacon Ice Cream.  This quirky new flavor is available exclusively at the Ohio State Fair, which opens July 24 and runs through August 4 at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus.  This one-of-a-kind ice cream features creamy maple Velvet Ice Cream swirled with maple-coated bacon pieces.  It was inspired by Ohio’s rich agriculture, which is the focus of the Ohio State Fair.  The farm-fresh taste of Velvet’s new Maple Bacon Ice Cream, created exclusively for the 2013 Ohio State Fair, is expected to be a big hit this year.
