Gems CAP-300 level sensor boosts efficiency in tough conditions

MILTON KEYNES, U.K. - July 23, 2013 - PRLog -- Gems Sensors & Controls (http://www.gemssensors.com/en-GB) has launched the CAP-300 (http://www.gemssensors.com/Products/Level/Single-Point-Level-Switches/Capacitive/CAP-300-Level-Switch), a new coolant level sensor that enhances efficiency by performing over long periods of time under the most rugged coolant applications.  The CAP-300 is unique in that it operates in a frequency range that minimizes the effects of the conductivity of the media to ensure long term performance, while the sealed design prevents any fluid intrusion.  The sensor will bring enhanced performance for many applications, including off-highway vehicles, locomotives and generator sets.

Compatible with temperatures up to 257°F (125°C) the CAP-300 is suited to the most challenging environments. The sensor is easy to install and requires virtually zero maintenance.  It is also small in size (2” in length), tolerates coating and will remain reliable even in the standby mode. Available with a variety of mounting types and electrical connections, it can handle a supply voltage from 9 to 32VDC.
