ARMA International to offer Certified E-Discovery Specialist credential to global membership

ACEDS reaches exclusive agreement to bring e-discovery certification to information managers worldwide
MIAMI - July 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Miami – The Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS) today announced that it has entered into an exclusive partnership with ARMA International to bring its e-discovery certification, the Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) credential, to the global community of information governance professionals.

As part of the agreement, ARMA International will extend preferred pricing on CEDS certification and other ACEDS products to its more than 27,000 members. Persons who wish to take advantage of these discounts may register to earn certification, or purchase membership or training by visiting ACEDS.org/ARMA.

The new partnership marks a commitment by both organizations to expand e-discovery competence to the broad contingent of worldwide information managers, who are often at the front lines of dispute resolution involving electronically stored information.

It also represents a prestigious alliance for ACEDS, the three-year old organization whose e-discovery certification has achieved a foothold across broad swaths of the legal and IT industries. The partnership with ARMA International expands its reach to include information governance professionals, archivists legal professionals, IT managers, consultants, and educators in the public and private sectors in more than 30 countries.
