Local Music Stars Tajci [TY-chi] and Scott Woolley Together in Benefit Concert Aug 17

CINCINNATI - July 26, 2013 - PRLog -- (Cincinnati, OH) July 26, 2013 - Longtime religious leader Fr. Joseph Bruemmer will be honored for his 65^th Anniversary as a priest in Cincinnati. Leading the festivities will be international singing star and Cincinnati resident Tajci Cameron and a jazz trio featuring pianist Scott Woolley, base player Joel Greenberg, and drummer Rob Paddock. Fr. Joseph Bruemmer, 90, is a retired diocesan priest originally from Mt. Lookout, who has served Cincinnati for 65 years. He is a beloved shepherd of the faithful to many throughout the region, so it is with great anticipation that people from all walks of life are coming together to celebrate his anniversary. International singing star and local resident, Tajci Cameron, reflected on first meeting Fr. Bruemmer. “I was inspired by his sense of humor mixed with old-school dignity and elegance that made me want to sit straight and use my best vocabulary. Yet, I also felt free to laugh or cry with him. He’s very down to earth and inspires me to be the best version of myself...to soar and dream big.”

Part of the big night will feature Tajci performing with popular local musicians in a Hollywood style jazz program including Scott Woolley on piano, Joel Greenberg on upright bass, and Rob Paddock on drums. Guests will also be the first to hear new songs from Tajci’s soon-to-be released album “Awaken”. Tajci describes the evening’s music as, “Good clean fun, remembering a time when people dressed up, held their martini glass with elegance and danced to the songs that are poetry about everlasting love."

Proceeds will benefit the General Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center Fund.
