DENVER -  The much anticipated launch of Hang Ten Gold girls collection has finally

arrived.  Born from the iconic surf inspired brand of the 60’s, Hang Ten Gold has been

worth the wait.  And the wait is finally over.

The legendary surfer Duke Boyd founded Hang Ten out of necessity.  He designed the

very first “board shorts” to be capable of withstanding the rigors of surfing.  The Hang

Ten “two feet” logo has been iconic in the surf and beach world ever since.  Hang Ten

has played a pivotal role in growing surfing from an exotic pastime to an integral part of

mainstream American life.  Today, Hang Ten is recognized around the world.  Hang Ten

recently launched Hang Ten Gold, an exclusive label for the more discerning Hang Ten

lifestyle customer.  Privately held and owned by American Brand Holdings, the  license

for the girls collection has been granted to LamanBlu, LLC.

The LamanBlu brand appeared on the fashion scene in 2009 and opened to rave

reviews.  LamanBlu, LLC’s namesake brand produces eco-friendly contemporary

apparel for girls and boys.  “We’re very excited to be bringing the Hang Ten Gold girls

The Spring 2014 Collection launches next week in New York at the ENK show.  The

collection also shows at the Vegas KIDShow August 19-21 and at regional markets

including Los Angeles, Dallas and Atlanta.  

Hang Ten Gold is inspired by the vintage Hang Ten brand, updated for today.  The

spring collection consists of coordinated sportswear, dresses and swimwear in bright

colors, wave dyed stripes, cross dye shirtings, and Hawaiian inspired florals.  Sizes are

3 months to 14.  Wholesale prices for the season range from $15-33.
