eBay Muscle Car find - Restored 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Convertible SS396 with 20+ Factory Options

A very special restored Chevelle, with over 20 factory options, was just listed for sale on eBay. This California Chevelle is an excellent example of an original number matching SS396 convertible with just over 73,000 miles.

The Chevelle recently caught the eye of Rich Truesdell, co-author of the book Hurst Equipped and the launch editor of Chevy Enthusiast magazine. Rich stated, "High-option cars are what I look for when considering cars for features. This one checks almost all the option boxes, like the rare driver's-side power seat and the fiber optic lamp monitors. I would put this car on the cover. While you often see red 454 Chevelles on magazine covers, when have you seen such a striking white big-block Chevelle grace the cover of a major publication?"

This convertible has most of the options that were available at the time it was ordered including rare options like fiber optic lamp monitoring, 4-way power driver's seat, deluxe seat belts, tinted glass, power windows and air conditioning.

This Chevelle was manufactured in April 1970 at the Van Nuys plant in California and has been continually owned in Southern California since new. The car comes with its original California blue license plate with the original 1970 sticker intact and is documented on the title paperwork.

An extensive 17-month restoration has just been completed. The car's restoration was finished in the original Classic White paint with the Medium Red interior and optional equipment just as the car was originally produced back in 1970.
