Award-winning Independent Film Director Anthony J. Puglia Introduces "Spit Boys"

NEW YORK - Aug. 2, 2013 - PRLog -- Award-winning independent film director, Anthony J. Puglia is having a fundraiser for a modern day action-drama mob film Spit Boys. He is having an online fundraiser through indiegogo.com to reach the goal of $10,000. Spit Boys follows the story of two cousins James and Mikey Callera, as a feud with a rival gang escalates. James returns from overseas as a soldier isn’t to only protect his family’s business, but to protect himself from his cousin. The story-line of this film tests the phrase “Blood is thicker than water”. Anthony J. Puglia stated, “We really wanted to tell a story about family and loyalty,” The film was co-written by Anthony J. Puglia, Sean S. Strain, and Joe Stern. Anthony will be directing the film alongside with producer John Colby of BxC Studios. They were able to get a cast filled with actors from The Sopranos and other well-known films such as actors William DeMeo, Brian Tarantina, Paul Borghese, and Jonathan Baldwin, just to name a few. Anthony chose these actors because he knows they will bring each of the characters to life. Both the cast and crew are excited to be on board with this project.
