Land Of Nerds Trivia Game Show: Contestants Needed.

STOKE-ON-TRENT, U.K. - Aug. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- On August 10, 2013 Coppercon Revolution at Windemere Hotel in Mesa, Arizona is going to host the very first Land of Nerds trivia challenge. Teams of three will compete in a live, web-streamed game show, broadcasted on http//www.landofnerds.com (http://www.landofnerds.com/) on a larger-than life game show set.

Teams will participate in small challenges and answer trivia questions in pursuit of amazing prizes and for the chance to be declared the Smartest Nerds in the Galaxy. To participate in the trivia challenge, contestants must have a Coppercon membership.

Competitors in the Land of Nerds Trivia Challenge will compete for a variety of prizes. Prizes include the six-part Man of Steel 1986 comic series (valued at $75). This series, written and drawn by artist John Byrne, was the DC Comics reboot of Superman, including his origin story. Another prize includes the Dork Tower Series collection. Dork Tower is a gamer-related comic strip, written and drawn by John Kovalic, follows the story of gamers in “Mud Bay, Wisconsin.” Another prize includes a set of Raiding Parties; a pirate-themed card game.

During the course of the weekend the Land of Nerds Team will complete a minimum of five 2-30 minute videos with a Live Web Feed for Convention Members to enjoy and participate in. This included video classes, Dr. Who, makeup workshops, robots and sword fights.
