Unique Languages introduces new type of Legal English Course

WIMBLEDON, U.K. - Aug. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- From August 5, Unique Languages is launching our new Intensive Legal English programme in collobration with several Spanish-based organisations.  

For two weeks, eight lawyers from Almeria in Spain will come to the UK to experience everything that London has to offer, as well as get an amazing insight into how Britain operates; from the political system to education, religion and, of course, the legal system.

The course will have feature several exciting innovations that are not usually part of an EFL course; specifically each lesson will take place in a different iconic London location and each lesson will be linked to that area.  The first lesson will take place in Church House in Westminster, a building steeped in history where the United Nations first met and where Parliament met several times during World War II.  Naturally, this lesson will focus on life in the UK and there will be an overview of English law.

Later lessons will go to Britain's Silicon Roundabout to look at libel law and recent cases involving social media, beautiful Greenwich to focus on shipping law and Southwark Cathedral to look at human rights cases in the UK.  

All of the lessons will be taken by Unique's band of Legal English trainers, who combine experience of EFL teaching with a wide knowledge of British law.  The course will be further enhanced by several guest speakers touching on areas as diverse as oratory and the death penalty.  The course will also include tours of several historical London areas that have had a part to play in law; including The Supreme Court, the Inns of Court and the Houses of Parliament.
