Martial Arts Studio Helps Students in Terrebonne Parish to See The Value of Giving Without Expectin

August 2013 is Charity Month as part of Martial Arts Studio’s Powerful Words Character Development program! All students will be studying, developing and experiencing powerful life lessons focusing on understanding the value and benefit of participating in charity, in a fun, powerful and effective manner.  In addition to all of the physical skills that they'll be working on this month, students will be discussing and practicing the following concepts both in and out of class:

•    Charity defined: What is charity? How can I share my treasures with others?

•    Talents: What are my talents and how can I use them to help others?

•    Time: How do I spend my time? How can I use my time to help others?

•    Commitment & Accountability: Can children make a difference? How can I?
