Time to Cater Announces Food Drive to Support the St. Louis Area Food Bank

ST. LOUIS - Aug. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- To help bridge the hunger gap, Time to Cater, the fastest growing catering concierge company nationwide, is encouraging the community to help serve those in need by making monetary and food donations at its headquarters.  Now through September 30, those interested in helping fight hunger with Time to Cater and the St. Louis Area Food Bank can donate online or at one of the drop off bins located at 600 Olive Street, 13^th floor in Downtown St. Louis.

“There is no greater feeling than catering to those who need it most,” said Ed Spinaio, CEO, Time to Cater. “Our team feels a strong commitment to help serve nutritious meals to anyone who cannot afford to eat. With the help of the community we can ensure that the hungry receive proper nutrition before school is back in session.”

For many families in the St. Louis area, knowing where their next meal comes from is among their biggest concern. Nearly 135,000 children in St. Louis are at risk for hunger, which represents enough children to fill Busch Stadium three times. With help from the St. Louis Area Food Bank, Time to Cater’s goal is to provide more than 300 meals this month to families.

“Donations not only provide a meal for St. Louis families in need, but also help provide a sense of hope,” says Spinaio. “We all need to do our part to help the hungry, because the need does not go away.”

Now through September 30, Time to Cater is collecting food and monetary donations from organizations, individuals and families to ensure enough meals are offered throughout St. Louis.
