Author Becky Komant Plans next call for creating a treatment and a then a first draft of the screenplay/teleplay in Hollywood for THE CONTROLLED. Project will be shopped to studios, independent motion picture producers, television networks and select cable television channels as well as the burgeoning Internet channels such as Netflix and others. In THE CONTROLLED, Sarah Ruiz is a business owner, a fitness trainer, and a mom. Married to the ever-so-charming and wealthy Alex Ruiz, Sarah appears to have a beautiful life. But behind closed doors, Alex reveals a side of himself that destroys her love for him. With five beautiful children and financially unable to leave her situation, Sarah knows she must make changes. While dreaming of a future free from Alex's domination and cruelty, she focuses on her growing career as a fitness trainer and competitor.
