MOUNT VERNON, Wash. - Aug. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Registration is now open for Live Your Passion, a one-day personal empowerment retreat, scheduled for Saturday, October 5, 2013, at the Waterfront Lodge at Thousand Trails in La Conner, WA. Participants will delve into their life’s passion and purpose, learn methods of meditation and journaling to gain clarity, and tame the mean voices in their heads through positive self talk.

“We’ll create a personal vision statement and learn the steps to craft a strategic plan for your life,” says Stacie Zinn Roberts, host of Live Your Passion Radio and creator of the What’s Your Avocado? personal empowerment concept, who is presenting the event.

Special Guest Galen Emanuele, who performs improv at the Upfront Theater in Bellingham with TV’s Ryan Styles, will lead an interactive session on The Power of Yes, to illustrate how the positive reinforcement methods used in improv translate to everyday life to “enhance personal growth, empowerment, and human awesomeness,” Emanuele says.

The retreat includes a workbook, ongoing email follow-ups, Continental breakfast, lunch, and a beach walk, weather permitting. The cost of the retreat is $95.

The Waterfront Lodge at Thousand Trails is located at 16362 Snee Oosh Road, La Conner, Washington. The event runs from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Stacie Zinn Roberts is an award-winning writer, speaker and media host. She created the What’s Your Avocado? Empowerment Concept. She shares her experiences with her audience and cheers on her guests as they reveal their own journeys.

Stacie speaks to groups all over the country about the power of living your passion, in both business and in life. She also hosts retreats to offer more intensive experiences.

Galen has been performing and teaching all levels of applied and performance improv for 8 years, including performing and touring with improv legend Ryan Stiles.
