Improvement on screw conveyor- GN Solids Control

In order to achieve weight drilling mud transportation, the screw conveyor has to be made very strong to give enough support. Based on this viewpoint, GN Solids Control make some improvement on the equipment.

1. Add steel plate around the screw conveyor body

After the research by technical team, GN design some steel plate and add them to auger body. There are 3 advantages as below:

Firstly, in case of similar convey capacity, the lifetime of the auger can be prolonged.

Secondly, in case of larger convey capacity, the auger can also be used and will not have some problem within some certain weight mud.

Thirdly, the steel plate also can be separated according to different section of the auger.

2. Add motor protection by steel plate

The motor is in the head section of the auger, a ledge of the auger. So it is easy to be hit during transportation. After adding the protection, the motor can become safer, with longer lifetime.

3. Add metal plate on the top of the auger for environmental protection

In order to make the working environment cleaner, we also add a metal plate on the top of the auger.
