Oxford Brookes University turns to Matrix42’s cloud based Workplace Management Solution

Aug. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- LONDON: Matrix42 (www.matrix42.com) today announced that Oxford Brookes University, one of the UK’s leading modern universities, has turned to Matrix42’s cloud based Workplace Management suite, comprising solutions for Mobile Device Management, Physical Device Management and Software License Compliance.  Oxford Brookes will benefit from rapid deployment timescales as all Matrix42 solutions can be hosted in the cloud thus eliminating reliance on in-house data centre resources.

Oxford Brookes University is committed to a continuous program of investment to develop and enhance the quality and efficiency of the University's infrastructure and services.  It needed a more robust and flexible approach to mobile device management, whilst meeting full software license compliance and audit requirements.  After careful research into the available options, it chose the cloud hosted Workplace Management suite from Matrix42.

Oxford Brookes and Matrix42 are already working together on an implementation schedule that will see Mobile Device Management and Software License Compliance progressively rolled out.  Physical Workplace Management will enable the University to manage a mixed estate of Apple Macs, with support for PCs available if required.
