Legendary Hip Hop Recording Artist Mistah F.A.B. Presents the 8th Annual Backpack Giveaway

OAKLAND, Calif. - Aug. 23, 2013 - PRLog -- To many, Mistah F.A.B. is know as a Legendary Bay Area Hip Hop Recording Artist & Freestyle King, but to the community of Oakland, CA, he is known as a modern day Robin Hood. Mistah F.A.B. is the epitome of philanthropy. He believes in the act of compassion by giving back to the people of his community and putting a smile on the faces of families in need.

On Sunday, August 25th, 2013, Mistah F.A.B will join forces with Celebrities, Community Partners and Concerned Citizens to present: The 8th Annual Backpack Giveaway in Oakland, CA. Each year, backpacks and other school supplies are distributed to elementary and middle-school students in need.

During a time when many famillies are faced with financial hardship, Mistah F.A.B.'s Annual Back Pack Giveaway provides relief to parents who have children starting the new school year. A minimal donation of $5.00 can fill up a backpack with school supplies to ensure children have a fresh start at education.

Mistah F.A.B. is passionate about giving back and organizes various charitable community events throughout the year. In addition to the Annual Backpack Giveaway, Mistah F.A.B also organizes a Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway, Holiday Toys for Joy Giving Event and various charitable events benefiting Cancer and Domestic Violence. The support of the community is crucial in making these events a huge success.

This year's 8th Annual Backpack Giveaway is scheduled to be held on Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. PST, located at 996 44th Street, Oakland, CA 94608.
