STOKE-ON-TRENT, U.K. - Aug. 23, 2013 - PRLog -- Haynet are proud to announce the success of one of their latest blog posts. Published recently, the blog post aims to inform consumers and businesses to the signs and symptoms that may be shown by horses that are currently suffering with Colic. As Colic strikes horses from all over the world, it's imperative that horse owners are able to see the telltale signs that often are shown - so that immediate medical care can be given. According to the Haynet post, colic is a gastrointestinal condition that can cause pain in the area, as well in a number of other areas too. However, the most common forms of colic in horses are in the stomach and colon area.

Colic is caused by a number of factors and without surgery it can prove fatal. In domesticated horses, colic is the leading cause of early death.  In fact, the likelihood of a horse getting colic is estimated at around one in ten. This of course, means that, if you work with horses, are involved in horse riding, or around horses regularly – know the signs of colic are important. You should also be capable of deciding on whether it’s necessary to call a veterinarian.
