BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Aug. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, IIDS wanted to bring to light the Deaf Community affected by this dreadful disease. During our annual IMPARTATION Conference, we will pause to pay tribute to breast cancer survivors and also recognize those that succumbed to its vicious attack.

On Wednesday, to kick out our conference, we will host an event entitled, "Signs and Wonders in Pink." This will be a variety show performed in American Sign Language (ASL) and interpreted for the hearing community. Come out and see one of Birmingham's own, Evon Black, as she host the show. She will begin with a monologue.

Trix Bruce, of Los Angeles, California will celebrate survivors with her music in ASL. Ashlea Hayes, from Compton, California will delight you with her phenomenal mime presentation.

In addition, we will have interpreted songs, testimonies from survivors, and plenty of fellowship.

Don't think this event is just for the Deaf Community. All are welcome to attend.

All proceeds will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama.
