"Writer in Residence" expedition promotes writing, reading and travel - first stop Lawrence Kansas

LAWRENCE, Kan. - Aug. 30, 2013 - PRLog -- Jacquée Thomas, known as Jacquée T., arrives via train just before midnight in Lawrence Kansas, Thursday September 12, 2013.

Lipstick refreshed, creases in her navy blue polka dot skirt smoothed, she deboards the train and begins the next chapter in her life.

This is the first stop on her "Writer in Residence" actual and virtual expedition. In her "satchel" per se, are a library of stories being prepped for Kindle Books, and an open-slate travelogue.

Next stop could be anywhere in the world. Her maiden venture takes us to Kansas where she meets with her favorite and most trusted editor, to close chapters on short stories and narratives and bring them to publication. Our maven of romance also explores the greater Lawrence area inns and environment.

Featured will be the Writer in Residence travelogue and Kindle book updates via Jacquée T.'s web site A Romantic's Perspective.com Travel page and "Vignettes" weblog.

'The Writer'
Jacquée T. is an authoress, poetess, former newspaper columnist, and the voice behind A Romantic's Perspective.com.

She lives life by the moment and offers a literary perspective that appeals to both men's and women's passion.

Miss T. loves to travel, and finds it overwhelmingly, on-her-knees inspiring. She embarks on "Writer in Residence" to fuel inspiration for her Kindle book stories, and to share in a travelogue.

'In Residence''
Miss T. finds inspiring places to sojourn, to behold new landscapes and new experiences. For example, she stays at Circle S Ranch, 20 miles outside Lawrence proper, to love the Kansas prairie and the little luxuries Circle S offers, and shares them via Romantic's Travel features and Vignettes.

Her "Residence" experiences become part of the Writer in Residence story.

The 'Writer in Residence' Story unfolds
Jacquée T. takes the Amtrak train "Southwest Chief" from Chicago to Lawrence and arrives around midnight. Her editor Malcolm Gibson and his wife Joyce greet her.

In Miss T.'s purse, per se, are the stories gracefully awaiting the final oomph before made public:
--- Three 'Ladie's Stories: a trio of short stories," and
--- the focus project For the Love of Chocolate. The first chapter is a story in itself, and to be released as a prelude to a novelette.

And this country gal who grew up in southeast Minnesota and moved to the big city, lands in a smaller city and is open for adventure.
