Production of Redesigned Toyota Tundra Gets Underway

ST. ALBANS, Vt. - Aug. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- The 2014 Toyota Tundra promises a fresh new look, both inside and outside, but it may be the full-size pickup truck's more subtle changes that distinguish it from earlier models. On the heels of a successful sales campaign of the 2013-model-year Tundra, including a 7 percent year-over-year sales increase in July, Toyota recently launched production of the new model, which will undergo a full-scale redesign.

Most noticeable will be several modifications to the 2014 Tundra's exterior, including more defined lines and a reshaped front grille. But perhaps the new Tundra's most impactful changes will take place on the inside, as it will be the first member of the full-size pickup segment to offer a back-up camera, Bluetooth connectivity and audio streaming as standard. It will also be the first Toyota model to feature the available upgraded version of Toyota's Entune multimedia and telematics system.

The upgraded Entune system is easier to use and update, while also sporting enhanced navigation and voice-recognition features.
