Reverend Ernie DeBlasio Joins Catholic Charities of West Tennessee Board of Directors

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Aug. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Catholic Charities of West Tennessee (CCWTN) today announced that Reverend Ernie DeBlasio, Pastor of the Catholic Church of the Resurrection in the Hickory Hill area of southeast Memphis, has joined its Board of Directors effective immediately.

Fr. DeBlasio was raised in Chicago and moved to Memphis in 1982. He earned a Master’s Degree in Theology at Saint Mary's Seminary and University in Baltimore, Maryland. Fr. DeBlasio serves as a member of both the Presbyteral Council and Board of Consulters for the Catholic Diocese of Memphis. He has served as pastor of the Church of the Resurrection since 2000.

Commenting on the addition of Fr. DeBlasio to the Board, Michael D. Allen, President / CEO of Catholic Charities of West Tennessee said, “We welcome Fr. DeBlasio to our Board and are grateful for his acceptance of our invitation. Fr. Ernie brings a fresh perspective to our group, along with a broad based understanding of the needs of our diocese.
