NFPA 2013 Regional Career Fair Connects Students and Industry

MILWAUKEE - Sept. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- The National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) is offering free registration to area students and educators to attend the NFPA 2013 Regional Fluid Power Career Fair on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center, 11800 108^th Street, Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. NFPA member companies located in and around southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois will be present to talk with candidates about jobs in the fluid power industry. The Career Fair will connect Students, Industry, Educators, and other job seekers.

There are hundreds of job openings in the fluid power (hydraulics and pneumatics) field. According to a recent Fluid Power Industry Workforce Needs Survey, 75% of the manufacturers surveyed are expecting to hire technicians and engineers with two to four years of education.

Students and faculty will have the opportunity to talk to fluid power companies about possible internships or full or part-time employment careers in a growing industry. The NFPA 2013 Regional Career Fair is a great place for students to find a career and a strong future.
