Dr. Derek Grier’s "60 Minutes of Wisdom" Selected for Congressional Black Caucus Author Pavilion

WASHINGTON - Sept. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Dr. Derek Grier, author of 60 Minutes of Wisdom, will join over 40 authors from around the country at the 2013 Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Author Pavilion.  Dr. Grier is Senior Pastor of Grace Church in Prince William County, Va. His half-hour broadcast, Grace for Today can be heard each weekday morning throughout the national capital region on WAVA 105.1.

60 Minutes of Wisdom was born out of Dr. Grier’s popular Ministry Minute radio broadcast, which is heard by over 450,000 people weekly.

By sharing the truth and the power of God's word through the Ministry Minute series, Dr. Grier's congregation grew from under 100 members to over 3,000 in five short years.   These witty stories, lessons and narratives have captured the attention and impacted the lives of people around the world.

The CBC Author Pavilion hosts the nation's premier African American literary and scholarly talent. The event is free and open to the public.
