City of Halifax launches SustaiNet Software's EngagementHQ online community engagement tool

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Sept. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- SustaiNet Software International Inc., a leading supplier of Stakeholder Engagement, Communication and Management Software, today announced the launch of a new online community engagement portal developed for the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM).    "We are very excited to be working with the City of Halifax and look forward to supporting Mayor Savage and regional council's vision of open dialogue with residents about initiatives that affect them and their community," said Anthea Brown, General Manager of Online Community Engagement Solutions at SustaiNet.    HRM is using the EngagementHQ platform to host its Shape Your City Halifax Community Engagement Hub. This new website will provide information about municipal initiatives as well as facilitate public engagement through discussions and citizen feedback.    "In addition to hosting the community hub, SustaiNet's role will be to provide ongoing technology support and 24/7 moderation of the all the online discussions taking place around specific initiatives," says Brown.
