Follow on Google News | Solar Maid adds Several Island LocationsSolar Maid continues expansion of service locations to several island communities including Puerto Rico, HI and the Virgin Islands
By: AE Media Group In anticipation of the explosion of solar installations on many island communities, Solar Maid has taken a proactive approach in establishing, operations to support the solar industry. Over the summer The Solar Maid Company headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA has added operations in Puerto Rico, all four of the Hawaiian Islands as well as the US & British Virgin Islands. “The timing was perfect as we are seeing continued rapid growth in HI & Puerto Rico with no slowdown in sight and the serious expansion plans coupled with generous industry incentives on the Virgin Islands.” stated Solar Maid General Manager, Jay A. Welsh. Solar Maid has been masterful in timing its Janitorial Solar O&M service locations for nearly a decade and whether it’s just luck or the results of intense research, is anyone’s guess, but the bottom line has proved Solar Maid a force in the solar industry and everyone has taken notice. Janitorial Solar O&M is a term coined by Solar Maid which reflects a very accurate depiction of what they do. “We wash solar panels, install bird and squirrel guards, provide landscaping service for utility customers, snow removal in the northern states and Canada, basically any aftermarket housekeeping work required to keep solar assets operating at peak performance” Even before the addition of the recent service locations, Solar Maid has been providing Janitorial Solar O&M over a vast geography with over 50 independent service locations capable of providing services throughout the U S and Canadian markets. Solar Maid has also developed operations in select European countries and has just finalized a deal that includes all of Eastern & Southern Australia which is projected to see localized solar grow to 37% of the electricity market by 2020.
