The 4th Suchitra Short Film Festival Submission Deadline Extended to 15 September 2013

BANGALORE, India - Sept. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Suchitra Film Society, Bangalore, keeping with the overwhelming response received by the short film makers to participate in “The 4th Suchitra Short Film Festival” for emerging filmmakers and to their request for more time, today announced the extension of submission deadline upto 15 September 2013 in place of earlier date. The festival will take place from September 20-22, 2013.

“We have received thumbs up from quite a few participants who could not make it within the deadline. The entry fees, the Rules, Entry Fee, Awards and prizes, Highlights, however remain the same and no refund if the film is not selected”.

“In the wake of new dates announcement as well as requests from a certain section of film makers, we are happy to announce the extension of submission dates to September 15, 2013. However, this extension will be the final deadline and the organizing team in no way would allow extensions any further,” announced, Festival Co-ordinator.

Speaking about the delay and the extension of submission dates, Anand Varadaraj, Festival Programmer says: “With this delay we ensure a vibrant, diverse competition and amazing experience”

The festival is open to filmmakers - both amateur and professional small movies on any subject and in any style. Films of all different genres under 30 minutes in length and family friendly are accepted as submissions for the festival. They include crime, fantasy, horror, mystery, romance, drama, science fiction, comedy, inspirational and experimental movies.
