Flagler Fine Art Festivals Return--Fall Session Begins Sunday, Sept. 15th

PALM COAST, Fla. - Sept. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Flagler Beach, FL--Flagler Fine Art Festivals return for the first of the "Third Sunday" fall session festivals as the conclusion to the National Arts in Education Week activities organized by Flagler Auditorium.

The festival will be held on Sunday, September 15th from 10am to 4pm at Veterans Park in Flagler Beach. A selection of juried fine art by Florida artists, art galleries and arts organizations will be available for purchase, and a "sneak peek" at the artist-decorated birdhouses and mailboxes to be auctioned to benefit Habitat for Humanity will be available. Advanced student art from Flagler Palm Coast High School and Florida School of the Arts will also be featured.

City Repertory Theatre of Palm Coast will open the performing arts stage with a preview of their production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at 11:30 (matinee full performance at City Repertory Theatre in Palm Coast begins at 2pm), followed by a stage magic show from Magic Mondo. Additional performers to be announced. Children's craft activities will be sponsored by Michael's of Palm Coast and Flagler Palm Coast High School.

This festival also marks the second "Art Saving Lives" blood drive, and the "Big Red Bus" will be on site to accept blood donations. All participating donors receive a free movie ticket, and ALYX (red cell) donors receive a FREE Outback steak dinner.

Festival attendees are encouraged to choose their favorite individual artist and vote in the monthly festival artist contest until 3pm. Votes will be tallied and the winner announced at 3:45. Gift certificates to local restaurants and other incentives are available at the festival information booth for festival art purchases over $50 (subject to availability).
