Standing at 6' 2” (188 cm) Neil is a tall technical Center Back with excellent defensive qualities - strong in the air and a pacey defender who’s comfortable playing the ball with either foot. Neil is currently playing for Irish Premier League team Bohemian F.C and will become a free player in November. "We are very excited to be representing Neil, he is a gifted player who has a very promising career ahead of himself" says his agent, Namjoo. Scouted at an early age, Neil gained the attention of the Irish National team coaches when he was just a teenager and was immediately called up to U15 National team. To date Neil has 33 caps for Ireland and has represented his homeland at almost every level; having played for the Irish U21, U19, U18, U17 and U15 teams. In 2009 Neil signed a 3-year deal for Championship League club Burnley FC and in 2012 moved to Derby County FC. It wasn't long before he gained international attention and in January 2013 he signed a two-year deal with Turkish First Division club Bucaspor. Unfortunately due to certain “individuals" His agent further adds; “Neil is a young lad who’s very mature for his age as he’s had more experience than some players I know who are a decade older than him”. Despite being only 20-years old, Neil has had excellent international experience, he’s played for reputable clubs in the U.K and is being perused by a number of European teams – this is a small indication of the talent Neil Yadolahi posses. “I’ve also gotten to know Neil’s father who is Persian and clearly the option is there for Neil to play for the Iranian national team if the opportunity arises”. Born to an Iranian Father and Irish Mother, there are a couple scenarios where Neil could get a call up by either national team however, in the upcoming months PSM will be focusing on bringing Neil to the U.S with an immediate concentration on him signing with a club in the MLS.
