LAFAYETTE, La. - Sept. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Supernatural Halloween Challenging Party Games for Your Halloween Celebration

Halloween is rapidly approaching, and if you're planning a Halloween party, you'll definitely want to begin making plans. And, with all the planning, you'll need to decide what games you want your invited guest to play during the event. Everyone knows that Halloween fun doesn't stop when the trick r treatin is over. A well thought out party can be the highlight of the holiday, especially when you include lots of fun, entertaining, and exciting Halloween games. In fact, lots of party hosts include a hint of some of them as they are creating their holiday invitation wording from http://www.invitationsbyu.com/wording-halloween-invitations.htm for their wacky Halloween invitation cards. With an advance 'tease', you can start the excitement and anticipation weeks before your actual party. Here's a list of some of the more popular games that both kids and adults will enjoy.

Warm Everyone Up with the Always Fun Mummy Wrap and Mummy Maker

You'll want to group the kids into teams, with each team having one kid as the chosen mummy. On your word, each team begins wrapping, as quickly as they can, their mummy in toilet paper, from head to toe, and the team that completely covers their mummy first wins. One suggestion, depending on the size, ages, and sex of the group, is to have the boys against girls. The prize is given to the group that finishes first. This is a fairly fast and simply game and is often used to get the party started. Plus, it is much more silly than it is Halloween fright.

The Ageless, Always Popular, Halloween Witch Hunt Game

You'll need three to five witch's hats cut out paper for every participant, and color two of the hats a different color from the rest. Begin by hiding all the witch hats all around the house or wherever you are playing the game, and then inform the children that they need to find the two witch hats hidden within the playing area. The person finding the most hats wins a prize, and that there are two special hats that will get really special bonus prizes. Then, let the children begin to search for the hats, but you might want to stagger the kids' releases by age group if there is a significant variances in ages. Naturally, the younger kids get a head start over the older ones. The winners are the ones who found the different colored hats and the one who got the most hats collected. You'll want to have a few extra prizes just in case of ties. Read more at http://www.invitationsbyu.com/helpful-updates.htm

Does Anyone Hear a Spooky Ghost?

Before getting started, you'll need to assign someone, usually the party host, to be the ghost. To start the game, ask everyone to spread out a little while closing their eyes, standing totally quite and still as they listen for the ghost. The ghost then walks around the area and stands quietly behind one of the players. The ghost begins counting silently to ten, and if the person that the ghost is standing behind does not say 'is there a ghost behind me?' before the ghost completes counting, then the ghost tells that player he is dead and out of the game. But, if the player does say 'is there a ghost behind me' then that player joins the ghost in trying to eliminate all the others, one at a time. If all the players get eliminated, the ghost wins, but if not, the last player who became the ghost wins. This is a fun and suspenseful game, as the players never know when the ghost is standing behind them.

Interesting and Entertaining Pumpkin Halloween Golf

Begin by carving out a pumpkin, ensuring the 'mouth' is extra large. Then build a ramp made of cardboard about one to two feet in size from the bottom to the ground of the month of the pumpkin. This will probably need a bit of support below the cardboard. Next, tape the ramp to the floor to add some stability, and mark it a starting point a few feet beyond the beginning of the ramp. The object is to hit the golf ball into a pumpkin. The younger the players, the closer they can get, or the older the players, the further back they should stand. Each player gets three tries with their golf ball, and for every time the ball goes into the pumpkin, the player gets a piece of candy as a prize. The player with the most balls in the pumpkin's mouth wins. Your colorful invitations for Halloween from http://www.invitationsbyu.com/halloween-invitations.htm can include some of the details.

A Skeleton Race to Remember

This game is not only fun, but educational as well. You'll need to buy some paper skeletons from a holiday party store. Begin by dividing your guests into teams, giving each team a skeleton. Ensure each of the teams has sufficient brads. Then, all they have to do is put the skeleton together, and the team that assembles it first, wins. You might want a variety of prizes for such categories as scariest, silliest, best looking, and so forth. Again, depending on the ages of your guests, you can find more complicated paper skeletons to put together. You can read on the outside of the package the recommended age groups.

The Always Fun Pin the Nose on the Halloween Pumpkin

For this game, you can use an actual pumpkin, an artificial one, or even a large drawing or picture of a pumpkin on a corkboard. First, pre-cut and have a black construction paper nose all ready. Your game pumpkin should have a mouth and eyes already cut out or glued on, leaving an open area for the nose. Then, you'll need to blindfold each of the players as they take turns playing. Before each player begins, you will need to spin him around three times, and then let him go. Each player will try and pin the nose on the pumpkin in the correct place. The other players can yell 'cold' or 'hot' if they are missing the pumpkin completely. You can use a pushpin to attach the nose, as it's a bit easier on the thumbs and not nearly as dangerous as regular thumbtacks for attaching the nose. For younger kids, you can use some sort of tape, rather than any pins. The winner is the player who comes closest to the right spot on the pumpkin.
