By: Market Insights, LLC The event will be held on Dec. 6 at the Southgate Crystal Garden, 16703 Fort St., beginning with breakfast at 7 a.m. and followed by an inspirational program at 7:30 a.m., and ending at 9:30 a.m. The non-denominational program of spiritual renewal will be led by local clergy. The guest speaker, Jim Cymbala, is a native New Yorker who was raised in Brooklyn and is the author of several inspirational books as well as the pastor of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Church, known for its 260-member award-winning choir. Later, the congregation trained pastors and sent them, along with small groups of believers, to establish new congregations in the area. The Brooklyn congregation replicated their program in Haiti, the Dominican Republic and later in Israel, Guyana and the Philippines.
