FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Sept. 23, 2013 - PRLog -- Today’s Caregiver magazine, http://www.caregiver.com, the nation’s leading support, training and educational organization for family and professional caregivers since 1995, will present its highest community leadership award to Edith Schaffer Lederberg, Executive Director of the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Broward County, at its 127th Fearless Caregiver Conference being held on October 17th at the Sheraton Suites Cypress Creek in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Edith Schaffer Lederberg recently celebrated 30 years with the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Broward County. Throughout her entire career, Lederberg has remained one of the most influential advocates for elders locally and throughout the U.S. Lederberg was appointed as a Florida Delegate to the White House Conference on Aging, served as president of the Florida Association of Area Agencies on Aging and is a member of the Broward Senior Hall of Fame.
