BKD to Make Presentation for Association of College & University Auditors

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Sept. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- SPRINGFIELD, MO – BKD IT Risk Services, a division of BKD, LLP, is pleased to announce that Paco Diaz, Ron Hulshizer and Rod Walsh will be presenting at the Association of College and University Auditors Conference held September 22 - 26, 2013, in Norfolk, Virginia.  Rod and Paco will present “Exploring the HIPAA Security Rule in the College and University Environment” on September 26, from 10:10 - 11:50 a.m.  Ron will present “Penetration Testing and Social Engineering in a University Setting” on September 25, from 3:20 - 5 p.m.

Paco is a senior consultant for BKD IT Risk Services.  Paco has 16 years of IT experience in both private and public organizations.  He has worked on risk management strategies such as advanced security awareness, record management and vendor management programs.

Ron has more than 25 years of experience helping companies with information technology (IT), security and financial accounting issues.  Ron is a member of ISACA and InfraGard.  He also is a Certified Management Accountant and is Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT^®.

Rod is a director in BKD’s IT Risk Services division.  He has more than 30 years of experience and provides services in security and risk management, SOC examinations, HIPAA program assessments and system selection and acquisition consulting.  Rod is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association and holds its Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT^® and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control credentials.
