Dynetics Technical Services Receives Marshall Space Flight Center Small Business Award

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Sept. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) has awarded Dynetics Technical Services (DTS) the 2013 MSFC Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year Award, the highest Small Business award given by the local agency. The award was presented on Sept. 19, 2013 at the 6^th Annual Small Business Alliance Meeting where DTS was recognized for demonstrating outstanding performance and sustained support for the work of the Marshall Center and for NASA’s mission of exploration and discovery.

DTS was acknowledged for its work on the MSFC Information Technology Services (MITS) contract. Under this program, DTS provides IT security services; IT planning, policy, architecture and integration; telecommunications services; applications and web services; computing services; and audio visual information services.

Dr. Ron Nyberg, DTS president, said, “We are honored to receive this important award which demonstrates strong performance and proven partnership with NASA.”

As MSFC’s Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year, DTS qualifies for the NASA Small Business Prime Contractor Award, a recognition by the overall agency.

In May, DTS received the 2012 MSFC Contractor Excellence Award (CES) in the Small Business Category and recently received 100 percent performance evaluation scores in all contract areas for the sixth consecutive evaluation period.
