ADDISON, Texas - Sept. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- Addison, Texas (Sept. 23, 2013) – After a six-month relationship, D Magazine and London Broadcasting Company (http://londonbroadcastingcompany.com/) have decided to part ways. This gives London Broadcasting more autonomy to take its three original programs – The Texas Daily (http://www.ktxdtv.com/category/245726/thetexasdaily), The Broadcast (http://www.ktxdtv.com/category/257849/d-the-broadcast) and Lone Star Roads (http://www.ktxdtv.com/category/263273/lone-star-roads) – to its other six Texas markets. Loyal viewers will notice the change this morning, when D: The Broadcast, formerly known as D-TV and Texas Living, drops “D” from its formal name and welcomes a new host.

London Broadcasting has always had aspirations to take its programming statewide,” says KTXD-TV (http://www.ktxdtv.com/) General Manager Brian Joyce. “We have enjoyed working with D Magazine, but the time seemed right to go our separate ways. We will continue to provide the same quality programming that our audiences expect, and we look forward to the challenges and opportunities that come with our growth and expansion.”

The Broadcast will continue to air weekday mornings from 9-11 a.m. Its lifestyle format will focus on food, family, fun and parenting but expand its scope to include Texas women’s issues. Hosts Suzie Humphreys, Courtney Kerr and Lisa Pinero will remain on the show. New host Amy Kushnir will fill the fourth seat vacated by Pat Smith, who is leaving to fulfill other obligations.

As always, the show is taped live and uncensored, and viewers never know what these lively personalities will do or say next as they share their own insights and opinions on daily topics and invite viewers to do the same via social media. Visit The Broadcast on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/TheBroadcastTV) and Twitter (https://twitter.com/TheBroadcastTV).

The Broadcast has a lively lineup planned for the week of Sept. 23: country crooner Tracy Lawrence and Latina pop singer and entrepreneur Gloria Estefan will join the ladies, along with tennis star Andre Agassi and former WNBA coach Nancy Lieberman, known as Lady Magic.

Joining The Broadcast in its statewide debut:

·         The Texas Daily, featuring “smart news” commentary from former anchors that airs live weekday evenings from 6-7 p.m. and rebroadcasts from 9:30-10:30 p.m.

·         Lone Star Roads, a reality show on Texas musicians hosted by Justin Frazell that airs on Thursdays at 7 p.m.

In addition to the Dallas/Fort Worth market, London Broadcasting’s other six markets include Tyler and Longview; Waco, Temple and Killeen; Corpus Christi; San Angelo; Abilene; and Beaumont and Port Arthur.
