MINCOR Conference Crosses Borders to Share Learnings

BRISBANE, Australia - Sept. 30, 2013 - PRLog -- In conjunction with the QLD Department of Environment and Heritage Protection Bay Technologies held the 2013 MINCOR Customer Conference. The conference, run annually, brings together public service professions from around Australia to discuss the management of government and parliamentary workflows, with the aim of improving processes and systems. This year the event was held simultaneous in 2 locations with participants in QLD and WA collaborating via video conferencing.

The event was a chance for government agencies in both states to network with counterparts and share their practices and process in the hope of developing more consistent, standardised processes for managing correspondence, briefs and all other Ministerial documents.

By settling up the 2 hubs and running the event simultaneously in Brisbane and Perth participants were able to connect with a larger peer group, something made difficult after recent government spending cuts.

The response for attendees was that the event was professionally staged, relaxed and very informative. A large percentage of those in attendance asked for the event to be held more often, giving them the opportunity to connect with their peers and learn from each other on a more regular basis.

Bay Technologies is delighted to facilitate this event and provide an additional layer of value outside of system usage for our customers.
