A New Dawn for Baton Rouge Girls

NEW ORLEANS - Sept. 30, 2013 - PRLog -- Upland Avenue Productions (http://www.uplandavenueproductions.com) announced today that entrepreneur, activist and publisher Cosha Hayes will serve as the first President for the Young Girls Write Too program in Baton Rouge, LA. Cosha Hayes is helping to build philanthropic support and lead a city of young girls in the Young Girls Write Too arts and internship initiatives. Her leadership and knowledge will strengthen YGWT’s core principles to provide job shadowing and positive career choices to young girls in the metropolitan city. "My goal is to grow, not only as an author and entrepreneur, but as a person. I hope that in some way I can inspire, motivate or uplift someone in the process. Share with me my dreams and aspirations in accomplishing all that I set out to do." says Ms. Hayes.

Young Girls Write Too is a non-profit organization that empowers young girls (ages 15-22) to pursue their passion in writing and obtain clear career paths in literary fields. YGWT gives girls the tools necessary to be successful and empowering them to control their destinies. Each 'Sister' will gain entrepreneurial basics, have the opportunity to meet and interact with successful entrepreneurs, obtain internships to support their educational and professional goals and develop actionable business concepts.
