Attorney Jack Hickey Earns Florida Bar Board Certification in Admiralty and Maritime Law

MIAMI - Sept. 30, 2013 - PRLog -- John H. (Jack) Hickey is now Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Admiralty & Maritime Law.  Hickey has been Board Certified as a Civil Trial Lawyer since 1990.  Hickey is only one of 6 lawyers in Florida with both Board Certifications.  Board Certification is The Florida Bar’s highest level of evaluation of the competency and experience of attorneys in the areas of law approved for certification by the Supreme Court of Florida.

Hickey is Board Certified as A Civil Trial Lawyer by The Florida Bar and the National Board of Trial Advocates.  He is a Past President of the Dade County Bar Association and currently serves on The Florida Bar Board of Governors.After Duke Law School, Hickey started his career representing cruise lines, insurance companies, and other large corporations.

For the past 16 years, he has represented people on the other side of those corporations in cases involving cruise ship accidents and sexual assaults, trucking and automobile accidents, whistleblower cases, negligent security, product defects, and catastrophic injuries.
