Brazil Amends Tax Reporting Obligations

UNITED STATES, Calif. - Oct. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Brazil recently published changes to certain tax provisions which require reporting information to the Integrated System for the Foreign Trade of Services, Intangibles and Other Transactions (SISCOSERV system). This update will impact Brazilian entities and individuals undertaking specific international transactions that have an effect on their equity. New deadlines have been prescribed for the period up to December 31, 2013 and for the period on or after January 1, 2014.

These reporting requirements apply to resident legal entities and individuals that import or export certain services, intangibles and any other operations which have an impact on their equity.
